Who we are:
For almost a decade, soulwood have been creating and building design-led kitchens and furniture. Everything we produce is completely bespoke and entirely built in our workshop in Nottingham.
How we work
We want to bring your ideas to life and it starts with getting to know you and the personality of your home. From there we’ll consider a choice of materials, sustainably sourced and within budget. Finally, the build work can start – our highly experienced team will fully inspect and prepare the site before beginning any build work.
For larger projects, we’re happy to liaise directly with architects, builders and interior designers, providing technical oversight and project management from start to finish.
The kitchen Soulwood fitted looks fantastic. They have an incredible eye for detail and precision. If I need a kitchen fitted again, or some bespoke furniture made Soulwood will be the first I call.

How we do it
Our Design Process
Understanding your Requirements
We want to get to know you, your needs and the budget you have in mind. What’re your inspirations? What does your dream kitchen look like and is there a signature style throughout the rest of your home?
Selecting Materials
With an eye for the finer details, we’ll guide you through the process of considering and selecting your choice of materials. With sustainability front of mind, we’ll make sure to source only the best with your budget in mind.
Working Design & Proposal
Guided by our expertise, your thoughts will evolve into a working design and carefully considered proposal. We always provide the opportunity for feedback and amendments to the design and proposal before bringing it all to life.
Build Work & Installation
The final step. Once your designs and the proposal have been agreed and signed-off, your materials will be ordered for delivery to the site. The time taken for the build work or installation will vary from project to project, but we’ll keep you informed at every step.
